OUR FOUR
SEASONS
The quality of
our climate is perhaps one of Crossville's strongest attributes.
Crossville's elevation (2,000 feet) and southern mountain location are the
principle reasons for its' pleasant four season climate. We enjoy long springs
and falls, mild winters and summers that are quite warm during the day but cool
at night ... typical of the Tennessee mountains.
Autumn is especially colorful in Tennessee. The fall colors
are celebrated in grand style...and they well should be as more than 300 species
of hardwoods grow here, a larger variety than is found almost anywhere else in the
world. Gentle fall weather allows the colors to linger and you'll want to linger
too.
